This Black Canyon 50K sculpture is made to order in Colorado using the route's actual GPS and elevation data.

The Black Canyon 50K is a desert ultramarathon that challenges runners with its deceptive terrain and stunning scenery. Starting at Mayer High School in Spring Valley, Arizona, the course follows the historic Black Canyon National Recreation Trail, ending at Deep Canyon Ranch in Black Canyon City. Despite a net downhill profile, the race features technical singletrack, rocky descents, and significant elevation changes, demanding strategic pacing and resilience.

This sculpture is for the 50k route. Find the 100k sculpture here.

Topo Sculptures: These pieces showcase the Black Canyon 50K route along with the surrounding Sonoran Desert terrain. They highlight the course's elevation changes and the rugged landscape, making them ideal for those who appreciate the broader geographic context of the race.

Trail Sculptures: Focusing solely on the race path and its elevation profile, these sculptures are perfect for runners who want a detailed representation of their run, emphasizing the course's most memorable moments.
